How To Help

Involved Exceptional Parents Day relies on volunteers and the community to help in many ways.

Volunteers:

1. Participate on the Involved Exceptional Parents Day Conference Planning Committee: The conference committee is comprised of parents and professionals who work together to plan each year’s event. The committee decides on the date, theme, workshop topics, and coordinates every part of the conference. Planning meetings are held monthly.

2. Volunteer on the day of the conference.

3. Fund Raising/Grant Writing: Assistance is needed in the area of grant writing and fund raising. We feel it’s very important to keep the cost of attendance affordable for everyone. In order to not pass along increased costs to attendees, fund raising is a necessary part of the planning process. If you like grant writing or know someone who does, let us know!
